Following the Appointment of minsters into the second term of the Nana Addo’s government, Hon Asiamah has being replace by Hon mustapha yussif as the next sport minster if been approved by the appointment commette of the parliament.
Abatey from his personal views think the president should have maintain the law maker to complete the project he started
According to him “I’m surprised because even with the issues of the multipurpose sport that was built could u believe as to how Isaac Asiamah initiated to raise funds and where he could get funds to support this wonderful edifice across the nation was wonderful, it not easy to put up this ten multipurpose sport complex simultaneously and I was thinking the president could allow him to finish this project before they change him,”
Speaking to Saddick Adams sport Obama on Angel fm, he said though Mr. Asiamah is no more but his legacy at the sport ministry will speak for him and that he left on a good note pointing out some tremendous inferstructuer development started by the former minster
Hon. Asiamah took charge as the sport minster on February 10 2017 to January 20 2021 when president appointed new person to the office
He has been one of the long servicing minister under that ministery in the fourth republic after Hon. E. T. Mensah
